Java Full-Stack Support Engineer

We are seeking an energetic and self-learning Java full stack Support Engineer, you are responsible for maintaining and supporting a loan management platform running in AWS.

 

Your Responsibilities:

• Minimum 3-5 Years full stack development experience.

• Support java full stack backend application system components in a scalable, high performance, multi-tenant platform in a Java and AWS environment.

• Support JavaScript frontend (ReactJS).

• Able to understand & perform basic operations in cloud deployed application modules.

• Act as SME to peers and flexible to support critical production issues.

• Work with TIER 1 support engineers to escalate/resolve issues in a timely manner.

• Automate/contribute to develop the framework/util/scripting to save manual efforts of the support team wherever and whenever necessary, especially with bulk order reprocessing.

• Expected to seamlessly switch to a hands-on seasoned developer as needed.

• Propose/Assist R&D to solve code and configurations.

• Work with new clients to migrate data from their old systems.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline

• Experience supporting services using back end technologies (Java, Spring, etc.).

• Excellent programming skills using Java/J2EE, JavaScript, ReactJS, Groovy, XML/ JSON, XSL, JMS, RESTful web services.

• In depth knowledge of SQL/NoSQL and database technologies (PostgreSQL)

• Attitude to thrive in a fun, fast-paced start-up like environment
